To Villas: You are absolutely correct about giving aid to Ukraine and not extending unemployment benefits to Americans who have paid into it for their entire life. I am a 61-year-old female who got laid off right before my 60th birthday. My field is accounting. There are absolutely no jobs out there for a person of my age, the employers only want to pay as little as they can and are only hiring the young with little experience, to pay them at a much lower rate. It is sad. I haven't received anything since the end of December, along with three million others.
