Spring is in the air with the excellent weather that does wonders in forgetting the cold, windy and snowy weather. The ritual of a summer to come was evident on the beautiful Delaware Bay with runners, walkers and bikers. It has been a great tradition for the 50 years that I have been a resident of the area. However, something is radically wrong this year with talk of grant money to put in a sidewalk. They say we have grant money. That money is taxpayer dollars and not monopoly money. The township should fix the road and widen it, before spending money on a wasteful project.
