There is no reason to have to put your garbage out on the curb to blow around with the weather we get on this island. In Stone Harbor, we have the borough come to our side yards, take our cans from our side yards, and return our empty cans to our side yards. We have been doing this in our town for 50+ years and it is wonderful. It looks so much better than having our streets lined with garbage cans for days, and then the added eyesore of the cans blowing over and the filth spewing out.
