Does anyone ever answer the phone at social services? All I want to know is if they received my paperwork. I've sent letters, called, and sent a fax; all with no response. It used to be you would call and get transferred to a live person. Now you get sent to a "call center" and no one answers. If you go in, you wait for hours. I guess I'll have to try smoke signals next.
