What Governor Christie’s enemies don’t tell you is how much more the local Ft. Lee economy benefited from the increased sales of bundled roses and daily newspapers during those four days last October. It’s just wrong to criticize until the results of this overdue traffic study are published. Hopefully, the bridge community will embrace this scientific study that will demonstrate conclusively that three lanes are better than one, and will also prove, once again, that a body at rest tends to stay at rest, and a body in motion has just come from the Lincoln tunnel.
