Make NYC safe? Just how does the mayor propose to do that with the current bail laws and the current condition of the criminal justice system? I lived in NYC for many years and Grand Central was always well policed and remarkably safe. You don't allow the police to arrest criminals and you don't allow the courts to convict them and guess what? You get more criminals on the streets in the subways and in places like Grand Central Station. People were stabbed because they are white. I used to love the oyster bar in grand central, I guess that’s out of play now. So sad.
