The commissioners need to stop wasting our open spaces funds on projects that don’t preserve open space. Get back to preserving open space. There is still plenty of land left that should be preserved. The county should contact any land owner that is trying to sell their land and offer to preserve it. Offer land owners market value and they won’t sell to developers. Saving land from development should be the focus of the Open Spaces program. Just get back to buying and preserving land like the program is supposed to do!
