Young men between the ages of 18 and 26 are required to register with selective services, you could potentially be charged with a felony if you don’t and face fines and imprisonment. There are other repercussions as well, such as denial for student loans, grants, citizenship, denial for federal employment, etc…. There also could potentially be an issue for appointed government jobs, which makes me wonder if this is why Don Jr, Eric and Barron weren’t “appointed”(elective positions seem okay) positions in the White House.
