Yes, it is time to remove the “memorial “ benches from the promenade in Sea Isle City. Time marches on. The families have many more appropriate venues to memorialize their family members . The promenade should be a pleasant and happy place to visit not a walk through a memorial gauntlet. Now some families are even decorating the benches making it difficult to even sit on them. A very small number of people should not negatively impact the promenade experience. Honor and memorialize in a more meaningful and more appropriate manner.
