Woodbine - In response to a March 4 letter: Euphemisms like "abortion care" and "procedure" to describe abortions are startling and heartless. Over 50 million babies have died since 1973. Many of their mothers have suffered. I am one of them. A woman who has been pregnant will admit the bond between mother and unborn child. Women do not say, "I'm having a fetus or an embryo," unless they are sadly detached from themselves, or in emotional pain and fear. Abortion is not birth control. The choice women have is whether or not to have unprotected sex. It doesn't take courage to justify a wrong decision.
