Woodbine - I would like to commend Jeff Van Drew for having the courage to act upon his conscience. Having listened to his explanation for leaving the Democratic Party, I have nothing but respect for the man. This is how true politics should be. He was elected to represent the people of the Second Congressional District, not the Democratic National Committee. He has placed his political career on the line rather than compromise his integrity. In my opinion, he is a man among Washington cowards. Perhaps he is the one man in Washington who can sleep at night with a clear conscience. Well done, Jeff.
