Where is the press release on what is going on with the old hat factory site? I see a barbed-wire fence surrounding it and stones piled up there. Bringing the land to the tax role as what? It was supposedly contaminated land that an $80,000 grant was needed; now what is it going to be, a parking lot for old trucks that leak oil and other fluids? That makes sense, only if you're worried about campaign donations and free lunches. Plus it's right in front of the water tower. I think the deal made should be made public.
