I worry about how "soft" and selfish our citizens have become. The protests over inconveniences due to COVID-19 were NOTHING compared with what our citizens sacrificed at home and abroad to win WWII (where far fewer American lives were lost than were lost to COVID). I'm disgusted by the so called "patriots", who whimper at inconveniences imposed for the common good, yet would likely crumble if faced with true sacrifice. This democracy will fail if the selfish among us get their way.
