Without reading the content of the Letter from the Editor, I could not agree more with the benefits and perks extended to our public employees when retiring. There is a host of saved time, health benefits, cash buy outs that is out of control and very expensive for the taxpayers to bear. Not to factor in the pension after retirement that is padded by increased salaries and earnings when retiring, let alone an extravagant county job awaiting as a second career-with a pension plan to follow. The editor is right on this one, and that is without reading the content!!!
