Byron Dickson's handcuffs on the alleged murderer. However, using a slain officer's cuffs to restrain the accused murderer is a time honored police tradition, at least in this part of the country. I have seen it done personally and find it perfectly fitting and just. Once someone like Frein is captured alive, it is highly unlikely that any officer would do anything to him that would mess up prosecution.
