Wildwood - To the Wildwood spouter who commented on the Wildwood Career Fire Division responding to fires outside of the city, I could not agree with you more. You bring up a lot of good points, most importantly, our tax dollars are paying for protection and what protection do we have when the very professionals we are paying to protect us, are fighting in other jurisdictions? Mutual aid should not involve paid departments when those towns have volunteers who could respond. From what I understand, the Wildwood volunteers were not called to the fire, the paid men took it upon themselves to respond.
