Wildwood - To the Wildwood school spouter, schools hire people who apply and are qualified. If you want more Latino teachers/administrators, then get them to apply for openings. I am black, and was taught mostly by white teachers. Did that affect my education? No way. Don't blame the lack of Latino teachers on why some kids are failing. Look at the learning material, the way it is being taught, then look to the student, and then to the home. The problem lies somewhere and I am willing to bet it has nothing to do with a teacher's race or ethnic background.
