Wildwood - A Wildwood Crest spouter got it 100 percent right. There is no logical reason to have five different police and fire departments servicing the area from Grassy Sound to Cape May Inlet. It is illogical, not cost effective, dangerous and anachronistic. Even if the kings want to maintain their little political kingdoms, there are thousands of examples of places that share services on a contractual basis. One police department, one fire department and one EMS provider would be much more efficient. Why does Cape May County have to consistently behave as if we were still in the 19th century?
