Why is the teak wood being replaced in front of Morey’s pier aga

Wildwood - Why is the teak wood being replaced in front of Morey’s pier again? This was supposed to last like 50 years. Wildwood still has other sections of the boardwalk needing replacement! Who was the Mayor of Wildwood when this work was completed? Hopefully it’s not one of the 14 candidates running for mayor this November 2023! Another waste of taxpayer money again!
