Why should coaches accept awards and honors?

Wildwood - Why should coaches accept awards and honors? Obviously, if you think they should not, you don't have a child in HS, or any school. They don't only teach the fundamentals of sports, they teach respect, diversity and commitment. They mentor, council and even help them with everyday necessities. Congratulations to the boys, girls and coaches on each and every team, whether you have a winning or a losing season.
