Why is it that some retail establishments in this county always

Wildwood - Why is it that some retail establishments in this county always have a single check-out lane open when they have in some cases dozens. Then there is always a delay because of wrong pricing or useless bank cards. Any frozen food is thawed out already before I even get home. On the other hand, I am losing weight since I've just about stopped giving in to all the poor service.
