Why is it that only "the left-leaning liberals" are wrong?

Wildwood - Why is it that only "the left-leaning liberals" are wrong? Why is it that anything negative towards the president is "fake news?" Why are some defending a political party rather than what is right? There is an old saying: "You have to respect the position of the president. You do not have to respect the person holding it." The problem is we can't have a decent conversation and/or disagreement without somebody hurling insults because the other said something they didn't like. This is especially true in Spout Off and its comment section online.
