Why does the town (last year and every few years) waste money on

Wildwood - Why does the town (last year and every few years) waste money on painting double yellow no parking lines in all the residential areas like the back bay and Andrews Ave. area in front of driveways and mailboxes yet we never see any tickets issued. Visitors, guests, and some condo owners continue to park over them like they aren't even there. Are we wasting tax dollars or giving summer jobs to relatives of those who run the town? Start giving warnings or tickets to violators and use the money to keep our taxes down.
