Why are the police officers, in several towns, leaving and going

Wildwood - Why are the police officers, in several towns, leaving and going to other departments, or getting out of law enforcement all together? I think the politicians should take a very close look at this. We, as taxpayers, will be paying the price when we call for the police. Most of the towns in this county are working understaffed as it is.
