Wildwood - Want more volunteers for the fire departments? Get rid of the “Boys club” and let anyone willing to risk their lives to become a volunteer. Why are we preventing people from wanting to run into the flames to help? Why are people being turned away? Criminal records? So vet out the worst of the worst, and allow those with a past, a chance at repaying their debt to society. There are plenty of tasks they can do to assist.
