Wildwood - Unfortunately, we live in a world where our perception of reality is based on television and the Internet. Police do not really seek out and murder young, black men. Yes, police do kill young, black men during the course of encounters that are more often than not justifiable uses of force. Police also kill young white men under the same circumstances. Sometimes these shootings are the result of poor judgment or improper police conduct. These instances are rare and should (and usually do) result in serious, punitive action. Sadly, most young, black men are murdered by other young, black men.
