I can't settle the dispute, but it is plain to see more and more conservative adherents of Islam in the western world. They are fiercely devoted to their religion and are willing to follow a rather austere lifestyle to find their version of salvation. Americans are increasingly less spiritual, and worldly pleasures and comfort are more important to most than religious redemption. When this all comes to a head, which it eventually will, who do you think will fight harder?
