Wildwood - Stop spouting about police, fire and EMS. All of you would be the first to complain if you needed help and didn't get it. Also ask the family of one of the four cops killed in the line of duty here in Cape May County in the last 20 years how over-paid those cops were.
Moderator's Note:
We call this work "public service" for a reason. Service people - like military, police, fire, EMS - can never be paid "enough." To the degree we seek to compensate such people "fully" for their service, the service element of their work is diminished. Arguably, when public service jobs are among the highest paid in a geographic area, we've gone too far.
