Wildwood - Standing for the national anthem or Pledge of Allegiance are signs of respect and appreciation. People who choose not to do so have that right, guaranteed by the Constitution of the republic for which they choose to disdain. Lots of us have fought wars to preserve those rights. We also preserved our right to show our disdain for these "protestors." Their open disrespect for these symbols does not symbolize anything other than disdain. Their protest is divisive and negative especially to those who love this country, imperfect as it is. Who cares if they sit or kneel?
