Cape May County has two resources, tourist attractions, and fish. In order to be a manufacturing economy, we need either natural resources or access to them. We are on a peninsula with no resources. Transportation costs alone eliminate the possibility of ever having a manufacturing economy here. It failed years ago in Woodbine when railroad transportation was more robust than it is today.
