Wildwood - Soon the summer property owners will return to their homes and will have no idea how their property taxes were raised and used during the winter months. Most of the wheeling and dealing is done in the winter months without notice and few in attendance. All it takes to make a land deal or raise salaries and hiring is one vote from our mayor and one council member. Done deal, no questions, no meetings, no studies, no advertisement. With so much nepotism, city jobs for friends, the votes are there for elections. Summer property owners have no vote or say in how their taxes are spent.
