Wildwood - This retired fireman from Wildwood is singing the praises of success and long-term commitment for the chief retiring June 1. He goes on to talk about all he (they) did for Wildwood but is forgetting one thing. Amid the mix of firemen, there were once as many as 70 volunteers. These two guys became paid and as such, helped break the back of the taxpayers, earning well over a million dollars, perhaps two, and are in part responsible for putting the volunteers out of business.
