Wildwood - Regarding the controversy over raising the minimum wage, I am concerned about the claims of substantial job losses as a result. I'm not certain that there is a definite cause and effect relationship between the two but let's assume that it does exist. In that case, logic implies that in order to create jobs the minimum wage should be lowered. Given that many people view the 1980s as a golden era perhaps the minimum wage should be gradually reduced to $3.35 an hour to help bring back the good old days.
