The government is actually a business that provides services, and people pay for those services with taxes. Public employees are entitled to wages, pensions or anything else that private employees get. Private salaries and benefits come from a business' profits. Public salaries and benefits come from taxes. Salaries and pensions are reasonable compensation in any business. Privatization is the only way to change that equation.
