Wildwood - By privatizing EMS in Wildwood, the town could realize big savings and in addition, the service could go out to bid-gaining additional revenue. The benefits given to those currently working the system would not change, as almost all of the EMS personnel are career firefighters anyway. We would then begin looking at the fire department for additional savings, as we really don't have many fires anymore. It seems like such a waste to have so many firemen, with no fire incidents. It makes sense now, eliminating the volunteers is job security for the paid guys.
