Wildwood - To the person who wants to call us at 3 a.m., when, for whatever reason, they need a police officer in Wildwood: When those recently hired have nothing better to do than hide and stop cars all day/night, we have too many of them. They ought to be knocking on doors, introducing themselves and performing walking patrols through residential neighborhoods. Where are the supervisors who are supposed to monitor their activities? Are they off on vacation, now that they have bloated manpower, or hiding in the station watching TV?
