Wildwood - Our city has no standard on how many employees they hire, promote, salary increases, or justify new positions. It only affects the small property owners who paid their taxes. Most hires and promotions are done in the dead of winter and no one is the wiser. There is no way the city will ever cut back the payroll once it is set. I agree with other spouters; we need some kind of outside audit or maybe the Herald can do some investigative reporting. Should be informative and very revealing. No other agency seems to care. Someone needs to help the taxpayers.
