Wildwood - The NJ State Fireman's Convention is going to be ending in 2028. The “Convention Relocation Committee” has tried over the years to find a new location to hold the convention, only to find that it’s simply not feasible to continue, due to an ever decreasing attendance of companies. Thank you Firemen, for your years of dedication and hard work bringing the convention to town. The residents of Five Mile Island thank you!
Moderator's Note:
The convention is not ending in 2028, nor is there a relocation committee, according to Joe Hankins, vice president, New Jersey State Firemen's Association. He added that the vote to determine the location for 2029 will take place this year.
