Wildwood - With the new contract starting soon, our police chief will be making over $200,000 in salary. Can anyone justify this salary? What is our town's residents' medium income? Most are retired or are summer residents. Does his and other officers' salaries make our little town any safer? Please don't tell me it is a dangerous job, especially in Wildwood. I can think of more dangerous cities and salary plays no part. Problem is, we set the salary bar and the rest of the shore towns need to be competitive. Someone from the state has to step in and say enough is enough. This is crazy.
