My girlfriend and I walked by the park at Glenwood and NJ Ave ye

Wildwood - My girlfriend and I walked by the park at Glenwood and NJ Ave yesterday. There stood a fellow dressed and painted like a mannequin. Holding a violin and at his feet was his violin case. Like in Europe they stand still until you leave some money and then they tip their cap or thank you. We each dropped a dollar into his case and waited for his response. Nothing, not even a nod. Well, we work hard for our money, so we took our dollars back and left. No wonder his case was empty. How ungrateful. Today maybe two dollars is not enough to even get a thank you. What is this world coming too?
