Wildwood - My 6-year-old son was hoping for help from Wildwood Police after tripping on the uneven Boardwalk and slicing his knee open, requiring stitches. A lady gave us a band-aid, and I guess the officers saw that and thought it was a minor cut. When asked, they laughed at us, and said they were not allowed to give rides to people in need. I guess no ticket or fine revenue, so no service. They taught a 6-year-old not to count on police for help when in need!
