Wildwood - At the mayor's meeting with Chamber of Commerce, they spoke of holding the tax rate down while conducting all the improvements done in their communities. One exception was Wildwood stating our property taxes will need to rise again this year. But we will get a larger dog waste disposal area on the beach and our parks will be cleaned and fixed up. That's great, except for me and my neighbors who are seniors. We cannot afford to own a dog to walk in the park because we pay outrageous taxes. Why can't the city figure out that raising salaries yearly cost us more money than we take in as revenue?
