Wildwood - If Colin Kaepernick really wants to do something to help the African American community, why doesn't he donate a sizeable portion of his $114 million salary to improve education, literacy, and employment in the impoverished African American neighborhoods? Why not be a positive role model for young people of color, like Barack Obama, Colin Powell, Thurgood Marshall, Tim Duncan, Hank Aaron, Guion Bluford, Benjamin Davis to name a few of a fantastic list. Lots of African Americans laid their lives on the line to fight for what the national anthem represents.
