Wildwood - I went to the City Commission meeting Nov. 23. There were about four residents in attendance. To my dismay, they agreed to hire about 10 more employees again this year. Let's hire four more counsel jobs, two more public defenders, how about more auditors, and a grant person. No problem. Requirements. Have knowledge about the city and just meet our city criteria? Sound familiar. Most taxpayers own summer homes and they have no idea what is going on here. We have the positions, employees and budget to support a town of 200,000 year-round residents. Come on down.
