Wildwood - I think there is a big misunderstanding by public employees that they are not needed or looked down upon. We need firemen, policemen and public works employees, and they do an awesome job at what they are trained to do. I think the issue is the number of paid, full-time public employees for a resort town with a small, winter population. That is the issue. I remember Gov. Christie noting that the island of Wildwood, collectively, has more fire trucks than the City of Trenton, which has a year-round population of 26,000. Do the math, just like the Hoboken example, and figure it out.
