I have a serious question for Trump supporters.

Wildwood - I have a serious question for Trump supporters. How come everything negative that is said about Trump is met with cries of "fake news" or "lies," even if it was/has been proven factual, but when Trump says something, it is taken as gospel, even without facts to prove otherwise? I am neither a Trump supporter nor hater. Rather I am a free-thinking person who is asking a simple question (who more than likely will get ridiculed in the comment section online because I asked such a question).
