Wildwood - I have nothing negative to state about our police officers and the work they perform, but I have to agree with other spouters that we are getting overstaffed with the number of supervisors and officers that we are hiring. The fact is that we are a small, seasonal town with not much revenue coming in from year-long business, employers, merchants, etc. The largest employer is the city and the largest budget item is the police department salaries. Yes, we do have crime, but maybe the solution is not to encourage these undesirables to come here. We are overburdened with taxes.
