Wildwood - I do disagree to a point about the take-home cars. The police chief and fire chief, along with other emergency responders, should all have take-home cars as long as they live in the county, but the chief of lifeguards in the winter, no. We never have water rescues in the winter, plus he doesn't come in the summertime after hours anyway. It's always the guards and the lieutenants. Plus, he gets a new car every year while the fire and police department keep their cars for three to four years. I would like to see every officer with take-home cars since they are short on staffing anymore. Public works, no take-home cars.
