Wildwood - I agree with the spouter who recently suggested reconsidering having the Mummers perform in Wildwood. Froggy Carr stated during media interviews that its handbook specifically states that members can't use blackface. They are considering having their participants sign a waiver when they pick up their suits that they won’t apply blackface. Can you name one other organization in 2020 that requires handbooks and waivers to discourage the use of blackface? We found out last year how easy it is to get in the news for the wrong reasons. We don’t need the Mummers dragging us there.
