Wildwood - A few decades ago, working in public safety was an honor. We were called when folks were having a bad time, often the worst times of their lives. You did what you were trained for to help. When you called 911, people who cared showed up. Now, it is obvious we have become the enemy. Costly, useless and a waste of money, so much so that many would like to see us out of work; our lives, families and future are disposable, yet there is an increasing demand for our services year after year. Advice to the young; forget these jobs. Let the calls for help go unanswered. Seems that is the goal.
